BACKGROUND:

Tatum Scrounge was born and raised in London. Her childhood was nothing out of the ordinary. She grew up in one of the poorer parts of London, but found wonderful place to run and play as well as watch things going on around her.

One of her favorite sports to do is swimming but being from a poor side of London she did not get much chance to practice much. She loved to be outside when ever she got a chance to. She would sit outside and watch people. This was one way she gained knowledge.

Also she took a high interest in Herbs and Herbology. She worked to gain knowledge about herbs by reading any and everything she could get her hands on. Her interest in magic started just before she was old enough to go to Hogwarts. Her father was a very strict man about exposing magic to muggles would not allow her to offer help with the herbs.

She made friends very easily and would offer help whenever she could. Her father, an administrative assistant involved in the massive bureaucracy of the Ministry of Magic, is named Ian Scrounge. He encourage her to learn all she could from books but watched her closely to make sure she did not use the knowledge outside of the family.

As she gained knowledge she helped her mother who stayed at home to raise her older brother Alfie and herself. Mothers name is Olivia, and she was very proud of the knowledge Tatum had gained.

Even though Tatum was not close to her brother she had plenty of friends to play with at home and has been able to make friends at school as well. She has a hope to be able to still get closer to her brother in the future.
